Zouk : is a style of rhythmic music originating from the islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Haiti, Dominica . Zouk means "party" or "festival" ... A popular dance music of the French West Indies, combining African drumming styles with influences from American and Caribbean popular music.

Rhythm and Blues (also known as R&B or RnB) is a popular music genre combining jazz, gospel, and blues influences, first performed by African; a kind of melodic pop music with soulful vocals. 

Hip-Hop: an urban youth culture associated with rap music and the fashions of African-American residents of the inner city. 

Compas/Kompas: a musical genre as well as a dance that originates from Haïti.
